Great original fiction in this issue: "Pockets Full of Stones" by Vajra Chandrasekera - a woman communicates to her grandfather who left Earth almost a century before on a colony ship. Ah, time dilation! "I Tell Thee All, I Can No More" by Sunny Moraine - strange, funny, and sad tale of a woman who has a sexual relationship with a drone (in the future, they will be horny, even if they don't talk much). "Across the Terminator" by David Tallerman - American and Chinese moon base dwellers become Great original fiction in this issue: "Pockets Full of Stones" by Vajra Chandrasekera - a woman communicates to her grandfather who left Earth almost a century before on a colony ship. "Across the Terminator" by David Tallerman - American and Chinese moon base dwellers become friends, even if it may make them traitors back home. Poignant. Non-fiction, also good: An article on Operational Research, interviews with J.M. McDermott and Richard Ellis Preston, Jr. (authors I had never heard of), and an article by Genevieve Valentine on B-Movies.

The classic fiction was great, but the original fiction was just average this time around. But you can't have a award winning contribution everytime...

This left me filled with odd emotion on a day full of odd emotions. It was unsettling but it also rang horribly true. I wanted to be challenged and I was.
