Good Read... Book pulled me in and held my attention enough that it was hard to put down. That, to me, is a success! Lot of sex scenes so make sure you are okay with that before buying. I did win this book in a giveaway but not paid for my honest evaluation.

Arthur Montesque is a resident of the creepy town of Lost Hollow. On the outskirts of the town is a creepier forest where there are even creepier inhabitants. There is definitely a theme throughout this book. Now Arthur is far from innocent. He is not necessarily a born hero. He is the one being tested to stop the creepy terror that surrounds the town. What he learns is there is terror all around and in the town. There are forces at work to stop him and not all of them are supernatural. What he learns is there is terror all around and in the town. There are forces at work to stop him and not all of them are supernatural. Arthur is a conflicted man. He has a history that is far from decent and pure. As he navigates the evil all around him he must first find the evil within to cast all the evil out. At 400 pages I felt the story could have been told with less unnecessary details. Some chapters felt like fill ins to keep some secrets from unfolding til later in the book. Also, there was a lot of gratuitous sex which didnt move the story along so some of it could have been left on the editor's desk. This is a debut novel and it's intriguing to think what the future holds for this author. The writer had me hooked from the beginning pages and I needed to keep reading it. Some of the writing was reminiscent of Dean Koontz and Stephen King who are among my favorite writers. S.A.Scarlet a an author to keep an eye on in the future. I received a free copy of this book as a giveaway from Goodreads for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own. Thank you for your review.

Sex, supernatural, sex, terror, sex, fun story, sex, oh and did I mention sex? A little disappointed. Not quite what I expected from the synopsis. 3.5 stars.

An interesting story. The sex scenes weren't my favorite, but they became less graphic after the first one. The story had an interesting twist and a new take on an old premise, which I was not expecting at the end. I did not find it boring at all, in fact I couldn't wait to finish it.

Hmmm This book had some very good parts to it. But , it also was very strange. All in all, I enjoyed it. It felt choppy in parts. But, the story was okay.

Started out fairly interesting. Went downhill fast. I forced myself to read most of it because it cost me $10.00. Boring, childish and just plain weird. But most of all boring with the same scenes and dialogue playing out over and over again.

I love books about the supernatural, but this one missed the mark. If you're expecting a book about witches, you'll be sorely disappointed. The story started out well, but became more and more disconnected with the introduction of each character, and the author veered too far off course in the storyline on multiple occasions. This book seemed to be more about explicit sex than a supernatural tale. I'm an open minded individual, but some of the graphic sex in this book was too much.

This was a very interesting story. I can honestly say that was a very interesting story. I could not believe what was happening and never would have guess the ending.
