I'm so glad this book was recommended to me! Amazingly good! I'm adding this series to my favorites. The books just kept getting better and better. The last book had mebinbtears a couple times. And the entire series had me laughing. I'm so glad that the characters I didn't care for in the beginning turned out to be good characters after all.

Rating: 2.5 to 3 stars. First let me say, I was able to read this series for FREE because I got it through Kindle Unlimited. This is a series that I am so thankful I am done reading. I almost didn’t even read the last book in the series. I didn’t plan to read the last book due to soooo much frustration & still a lot of eye rolling from book #2 but the book was right there in front of me from kindle unlimited. So I figured I’d read a couple of chapters of the last book to finally get some Rating: 2.5 to 3 stars. So I figured I’d read a couple of chapters of the last book to finally get some answers. And thankfully, I was amazed that finally, while reading the 3rd & last installment in this series, the story finally picked up the pace. Hallelujah!!!! It was definitely a moment of shock. 😮😮😮😮 The first 2 books went painfully slow. So much repetition, writing about mundane things & the 2 main female characters, especially Tara, I didn’t even like!! My favorite character was Malcolm & he started off as the really bad guy!! Lol This story, in my opinion, should have been done in only 2 books. The storyline itself was good. For that reason, and also because the books were free, I kept reading them. I just wanted some answers and the first 2 books, especially book #2, dragged on so freakin slow! It would have been a much more pleasurable read if you took out all the unnecessary garbage & just had the story in 2 books. Because honestly, I probably skimmed at least 35% of the first book & over half of the second book. It wasn’t until book 3 where finally, there seemed to be some decent writing & I actually enjoyed reading it! Once again - HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! Ratings for each individual book: Book #1 - 2.5 stars Book #2 - 2 stars Book #3 - 3 stars The only reason I gave this series 3 stars was because of the last book in the series. I’m still leaning towards more of 2.5 stars. What ever...... Good luck to anyone who reads it. You might enjoy it if you’re in middle school or high school. My advice though is, don’t buy it. Give it a try only if it’s free. 🤷‍♀️

Awful I got this book for free on Kindle. It was recommended based on other books I have read recently. The relationship between Lily and Brand is boring and predictable. Brand is an overprotective boyfriend who has nothing better to do than to monitor every move Lily makes (as does every other character in the book). I felt like there was also a lot of storyline that either wasn't explained or changed a few chapters later. I often had to go back and reread parts to make sure I didn't read it Awful I got this book for free on Kindle. It was recommended based on other books I have read recently. I usually have a lot of tolerance for bad books and have to finish them, but this was an exception. I just couldn't get through the bad story line and characters who don't develop. I felt like I was reading something written by a high schooler.

While this book is listed in the young adult genre, I found it to be appropriate for all ages. I thought I was going to read a book about a fallen angel protecting a young woman, but it was so much more. The author's take on the origins of the vampire, werewolf and fairy, and how they fit into heaven and the angels was original and unexpected. The message of love, sacrifice, repentance and redemption was beautiful and inspiring. Normally, I favor the first book in a series over the others, but While this book is listed in the young adult genre, I found it to be appropriate for all ages. The story it self was very riveting. Unfortunately it had a bunch of contradictions. There where also some editing g issues. I got to find out about a death a,co u old chapters early. I think they kinda switched out chapters. Then the last part of the book was in a completely different font. Kinda drove me crazy. I really hope the other books I n this wAtcher world are better. Because I really do want to see how this ends. 😻 The story it self was very riveting. Unfortunately it had a bunch of contradictions. There where also some editing g issues. Good story line This book had a good story line, with angels and more things that I can’t put without it being a spoiler. It does get religious talk, I.e, Lucifer, god, heaven. But it’s just a story so didn’t bother me much. There was sacrifices and death that made it more compelling. The battle we didn’t really see except a mention of it. It was more focused on relationships and humor because of Malcom.

Finally finished This was an interesting storyline. It wasn’t bad it just didn’t end how I wanted it to. I felt like I really had to force myself to finish and by the third book when I was about 80% done I started skimming. There’s only so much of the same info that is regurgitated in different ways that I can handle. In my opinion I just couldn’t stand the main characters, I felt Will got the shitty end of the stick and Malcolm too. There wasn’t enough wow factor.

I like getting all three together because they need to be read in order, or things get confusing. All three books are really Lily's story. I like a female heroine. Lily is not only tough, but feminine too. Great YA reading.

There was a 99 cent special deal on this book and it sounded intriguing. Not only did I enjoy the writing style, but I also found the story to be completely engaging. I felt compelled to keep reading to see what might happen next. A couple of times the foreshadowing seemed a bit heavy-handed, but I understand finding the right balance can be difficult. My main complaint was that sometimes the story got bogged down in too much description. At times, I impatiently read descriptions of what everyone was wearing or how a house was decorated, thinking these details must have something to do with the plot. They didn't. I couldn't help but feel that these unnecessary details were just filler. I'd have preferred a shorter telling of the story, featuring just the important stuff. The is quite a bit of action in this story, the basic conflict being good versus evil, with Lucifer as the ultimate villain. We all know that good always prevails over evil and love conquers all, but getting to that point can be circuitous and seem uncertain. The tension and build-up to the climax was very well done. The characters were well-developed and believable (I loved Brand and Malcolm). There may have been some Christian morals built into the story, but it was never didactic. It served the plot and I felt it was perfectly appropriate. Plus, we write what we know so it would be unreasonable to expect this author to write with the worldview of a different religion when Christianity is clearly the one that is understood. In general, I would recommend this collection, though I'm not sure it's worth the full price. Even the author admits, through one of the characters, it never makes sense to buy at full price because everything goes on sale eventually. It's a philosophy I share.

This collection includes Cursed, Blessed and Forgiven, the complete Watchers trilogy! They are written by S.J West and the story and characters are amazing. She is the type of author that I can’t get enough of her books! As soon as I put the first book down, I had to read the next one. At first the book seems like the typical paranormal love triangle but it is much more. From the start I was Team Brand in this book, but Will provides an interesting background and relationship with Lily. I highly recommend this book as the first book to team of S.J West’s. Blessed continues the story of Lily. We learn more about Lucifer and what he is doing in Lily's life. I continue to love Brand in this book!! Overall, West has created not just a paranormal adventure/ love story but she has created a whole world and mythology. I have honestly grown to care so much for these characters and I really feel invested in them and their stories. If anyone is interested in not just a story but amazing collection of series, you need to check out S. J West and her writing. Each novel she writes just gets better and better This is the final book in the Watchers trilogy but lucky for us not the final books about the Watchers!! If you enjoyed this series, I recommend reading The Watchers chronicles next. This book brings us to Lily and Brand's wedding, as well as the battle of good versus evil. The novel features some of my all time favourite West characters: Malcolm and Lucifer. Yes again, the story draws the reader in and it is very hard to put it down. West creates characters that you love and a few you love to hate. This book was an excellent conclusion to a great series. Fans will be happy to learn that SJ West has continued the world ad story of the Watcher World in The Watchers Chronicles!!

Pretty good series, even though halfway through the first book I realized I read this BEFORE. Years ago that is. I read through it anyway, so I can refresh my memory then do a review. I thought overall, it was a great series, the ending was a great surprise, but not explained well enough I think. I was like wait, so you mean? What? But still the gist was pretty obvious, I think. My only pet peeve is that.. they fell in love so fast and got serious pretty quickly. That bothered me. I never liked books where the couple falls madly in love so fast that they become a couple or get married quickly or whatever. It seems way too rushed to me and not serious enough. It's easily ignored though since the book flows so well that you can say "well whatever, I wanna read more." This series I thought was great for 16 years old and up. The sex scenes weren't dirty, it was pretty clean and limited. Would love to see a spin off series for Malcolm. I just like the dude even though he's such a wicked and nice guy. Would love to see a girl tie him down or tie him up that is. To sum it up, it's a good read, not excellent. But still decent. If you like angels, demons, pg rated romance, this is it for you.

The Watchers Trilogy was an romance trilogy about Lilly Nightingale. Her whole life, it seemed like fate was trying to wipe her out of existence, and every time that happened, Will, one of her best friends and first crush was there to save her. He broke her heart after their first kiss, when he started blowing her off. Several years later, during Lilly's first day at the same college that Will goes to, she meets Brand who instantly draws her in with his good looks and charm. Lilly has to decide whether or not she can get over Will and possibly give her heart to Brand, or not. While she is trying to make a decision, something seems off about Brand, especially his interactions with Will. This book was interesting, with plot twists around every corner, but it almost seemed like the author was changing her mind about where she wanted the plot line to go. For example, in the beginning of the book Lilly is single and likes it that way, and then by the end she has three guys fighting for her affection, so it seemed less of a realistic(to an extent) plot line, and more of the authors fantasy land.

Really enjoyed the first book However, the second and third weren't that great. It was interesting getting to know Lilly and Brand. I loved Tara and Malcolm. But once Satan himself takes on a human form and marries regular ole humans, I have to draw the fiction line. That is simply not believable. Also, why is Malcolm still a watcher if he drank human blood? There were quite a few grammatical errors as well. I really did like Lilly and Brand's love and happy that Tara found her own Prince Really enjoyed the first book However, the second and third weren't that great. Great story with a couple misses The story was intriguing and well-developed with a great back-story. Three stars for a couple reasons though. First, the repeated reminders that Lilly's love interest was beyond perfect and irresistible; second, way too many make-out sessions. There were also two missed opportunities in the story: we never meet Michael or at least learn why he was with Cora, and what was the point of eating white dirt??? Did the author intend to tie that in later but forgot?

Good story I enjoyed the story. I felt it was very smooth, but lacking some creative development of the story. She seems to rely on premonition a lot. As if all the characters had perfect memories. Past that it just seemed to end abruptly. No major complaints tho, I enjoyed the read

Awesome storytelling This series had just the right amount of love, loss, turmoil, and triumph to hook the reader. I spent many nights fighting sleep so I could read just a few more pages and that's what reading is all about for me. The author made me love every character and I can't wait to see how the Watcher universe plays out!
