Received an ARC for an honest review Chelle Bliss is on the top of her game with Hook Me. I AM HOOKED. Every alpha male that Chelle Bliss creates, I'm definitely in love. Michael and Mia's story is a very wonderful love story. The sweetest moments were unforgettable and I will remember all the things that Michael did for Mia and swoon over and over again. The fact that Chelle make her characters smart is very admirable. Aside from that, I totally love how Tammy the crazy one stirred up the story. She's just crazy but you will love her. I kind of did. Haha Everyone must read Hook Me. It's one of Chelle's best book yet and you will fall head over heels with another Gallo that is Michael.

***3 Stars*** In a nutshell....predictable, but entertaining. We get a lot of more of the Gallos and their family dynamic in this book....and I gotta say, they made the book. The Tammy drama was way over the top, but I found it more comical than annoying. Michael was a great combination of sweet and sexy (even if the scales did teeter over to cheesy sometimes), and for the most part Mia was likable. She did come across as a little too uptight at times and, unfortunately, she did suffer from a moment of DHS (Dumbass Heroine Syndrome). Nothing irks me more than a heroine who gets angry and runs away instead finding out the truth and talking things out. Thankfully, it was a mild case of DHS as it didn't stick around for long. Overall, a quick and enjoyable read. ***I have to note, there are a slew of grammar and editing issues here. Enough to be distracting at times.

3.75 "fighter and Doc" stars well, this one was a bit better than the book 1 in the series... the story of Michael "the Iceman" Gallo and his lady Doc, Mia Greco is on a lighter side concerning the romance part, it's classic - "a guy meets a woman that he's tremendeously attracted to and he goes for it, but she's a bit reluctant, since she's against violence in general, therefore she doesn't give in to him that easily" - formula... "I won't break your heart. For the first time in my life, I've found something worth fighting for, someone more important than me. Give me a chance to prove it. I'll do everything in m ypower to make you happy." and that actually sums up the essence of this book, but I really have to give credit to the dialogues, they were funny, Michael and Mia had a off-the-charts chemistry and their bickering and banter were both entertaining and steamy.

I was almost late to work this morning because I really wanted to finish what I started reading last night. Michael and Mia were just as hot together as the previous couple. Lots of visits from all of his family throughout the book, plus there's a psycho ex to deal with. Again the ending just felt incomplete like there should have been another chapter or two.

Actual rating 3.5 stars rounded up. Michael Gallo is an up and coming MMA fighter and the piercer at his family's tattoo business that he runs with his brothers and sister. After he is injured during one of his matches, he is treated at the local hospital by Dr. Mia Greco. From her first touch, Michael feels "something" and asks her out to dinner. Dr. Greco is busy and just doesn't have time to date. It isn't until a few months later they run into each other at a club, and the sparks fly. Mia Actual rating 3.5 stars rounded up. Throw in a vivacious family, and a crazy ass ex, and Mia's life just got a little more interesting. Even though the story is very predictable, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next installment, which is Izzy's story.

Liked it but not a 5 star read..Far from it actually. First of all, Mia was extremely stereotypical and it's like many romance books have some sort of stereotypes about ethnicities especially when it comes to men of other countries besides US. Like, Mia in the bar with her friends says this about Italian men: ''They're bossy and seem to think a woman's place is in the kitchen''..yeah first of all, I've seen this stereotype in many romance books but it was mostly on books from teenage girls.. First Liked it but not a 5 star read..Far from it actually. First of all, Italian men are no more bossy than every other European or US guy. Second of all, most of them are very laid back and cool when it comes to most things unless you've got a very traditional type of guy who is used to having many women in his family tripping all over the kitchen, then yes he'll naturely have this kind of ideology. Third of all, there are way too many western guys (many US ones too), who also like to think of women like that..so why the stereotype? Don't get it really, it's like many US authors seem to think that people from Europe, especially Southern Europe are extremely traditional just because they're more family oriented. Southern Europeans are very family oriented and are actually the best parents in the world if you think about it, and families are very close, but it doesn't mean that men in those countries are bossy or discriminating bossy pricks. They're no more discriminating than the average US guy who thinks his woman needs to be in the kitchen and bake him stuff all day or clean his baseball sweaty clothes. Second thing that confused me a lot.. Michael and Mia meet the first day in the hospital where Michael went for his broken rib. As far as I know when people go to the hospital they don't wear masks on their faces to hide their features and neither do doctors right...? So how exactly is it possible that two people who meet in a place and have an clear encounter cannot remember each other after a few weeks later and then a few days later after their second meet? She wasn't wearing a mask when they met, and he wasn't either...they encountered for at least 10 mins, talked and even flirted and after a few weeks of meeting in the gym, they cannot remember where they've seen each other? Or a few days later, Mia can still not remember the guy after meeting him already twice and even knowing his name? Yes she's a doctor and has many patients but seriously she said something along the lines :'' Pete was sweet and all but his lips didn't give me the spark Michael's did'', which shows that she had a clear memory of the effect Michael had on her when he first kissed her hand. If she can remember the effect of his lips on her skin how the hell can she not remember his face? Seriously that seems out of the place. Then at another part Mia was like : ''Without talking to him I'd think he was another meathead muscle guy without the ability to think quickly or hold a witty conversation''..lol that coming from the woman who thinks Italians are bossy (I'm not Italian btw), and seems to be judging professional fighting right after she kneed a guy hard on his genitals (which can actually cause a lot of damage depending on the force of the hit), when she could just pry his hands off, slap him and walk away or call for help and then saying she doesn't condone violence (not saying it was wrong to defend herself when the guy was insisting but she still had other choices and seems very judgemental and not so witty sometimes). This : ''I saw her knee that guy in the balls, she seems pretty hardcore'', made me roll my eyes. Is it really rare for some woman to knee a drunk guy in a club for gropping her, that when a woman does, it is 'hardcore'? lol ''Running my fingers over my shin, I could feel the prickle of hair. I sighed and caved, deciding to forgo the European look''....the hell?? lol What European look is that?? o_o Dear author, you do realize that Europe is a continent with over 25 countries belonging to it right? You do also realize that there is no such thing as 'European look', since each country has it's own culture and fashion right? What exactly do you mean by 'European look', please elaborate it since you seem to 'know so much' (Sarcasm here), about Europe and Italy? I think the author has some serious stereotype (and false ones too), issues with Europe in general.. ''It showed the right amount of cleavage but it wasn't trampy. It made people stop and stare'', eyeroll moment again. It wasn't trampy yet not only did it make people stare it also made them stop (assuming they're walking/running or something), and stare..lol ''I wanted his eyes on me tonight and no one else'', the smart independant heroine wanted to make sure the guy's attention would be on her by making sure he'd stare at her breasts all night?? lol ''Did he have a crazy ass ex or a gaggle of kids running around all over town that I needed to be aware of before we went any further'', assuming that when a guy has an ex, the ex definitely has to be crazy...lol ''Are you a piercer or a fighter?'', she already has been told more than twice about his job and shop activities.. ''I still can't wrap my head around the fact that you let someone hit you'', again Mia seems to be extremely judgemental and completely dumb when it comes to dangerous jobs or jobs other than her's. Earlier in the book she had also judged her friends jobs by thinking that her friends are always carefree since their jobs are nothing like her's and her's is much more important and hectic (no argument about that but she always seems to judge people according to their profession and comparing them to her's). ''I still think it's barbaric'', I'm already rolling my eyes by now at her pompy ass attitude. ''I wanted to be filled and feel alive as I grinded myself against him to relieve the throb I hadn't felt in so long''...2 lines later, ''Not here Michael, not like this'', is she for real? Is she acting like a tease on purpose and then acts like a romantic prude for a specific reason? Seriously what's with this woman? She's really one of those heroines you can't help but roll your eyes at, literally at every few seconds of reading. ''Take me home''..a few minutes within their date at the beach..*facepalm* Then after Michael was sweet enough to surprise her with a fun sea sport activity, she got all bitchy and yappy at him being like ''just my thing, yay but you forgot one thing, I'm afraid of heighs'', yeah because not only were you so bitchy right after the guy offered you an amazing experience but you also acted all diva like and supposed that the guy should magically know your fear for heighs since you never mentioned it before..gosh, this heroine was so extremely annoying. I kept reading because I loved Michael (he was very sweet and still Alpha without trying too much and he respected women a lot too. Enough not to touch them when they didn't want him to and to know when to take a no for an answer and not push it as well), and I liked the way he was progressing in the romance, but seriously he was WAYY too good for Mia. The heroine was extremely stuck up, posh and dumb in most moments. One of the most obnoxiously stupid heroines I've read about and I've already read about many such heroines before..If there was a heroine nomination for the good and bad heroines I'd be very tempted to nominate Mia from this book as the year's most obnoxiously dumb and hypocritical heroine from all books I've read this last year. I'd also nominate the author as the most stereotypical one in GR. Later Mia says about Michael's parents when he informs her that his parents can give charity money to the clinic : '' what is it exactly your family does to have so much money? I'm all for charity but if it came by criminal means I'd have to decline'', wow...another extremely silly and stuck up moment of her's. I mean I'm just impressed right now by her manners and extremely educated way of thinking..Not only does she insult Michael's family DIRECTLY she also thinks that just because they're Italian it means they're in the mob (seriously the author needs to get her head out of this thing, it's insulting, rediculous and downright silly). She also says ''I'd have to decline'', as if the clinic belongs to her..seriously? She's the one who will decide if someone will donate money to the clinic she helps out at? What the hell? Her attitude has some serious issues and I honestly felt like I wanted to hit her through my pc's screen numerous times. I also feel like lecturing the author about her choice of things to write when it comes to nationalities. Dear author, a sum up, you may have not realized it but there is a large amount of people with Italian nationality (most of simple Italians actually), who actually (shocker here)..have nothing to do with mafia, and it'd be extremely good for you if you stopped using lame stereotypes for European countries. Don't degrade yourself and your work so much please. Like I said previously Michael and the whole fighter plot about him kept me curious for the story but I honestly felt myself rolling my eyes most of the times due to the author's lame heroine attitude and her choice of describing and discriminating on nationalities. I felt like I was reading the work of a teenage girl in Quotev. Mia made me wanna quit the story many times during it, I had to really force myself to keep reading. The fact that I didn't have any other story that night to read, didn't help much either. ''I watched in awe at the amount of love and support his family gave him'', *facepalm*..why wouldn't his family love and support him? Because he was a fighter? geez.. ''They're loud and Italian, trust me they didn't hear a thing'',..another epic eyeroll moment about the author's stereotypical way of thinking..yeah because Italians not only yell at each other when they talk (..?), they also yell so much they become deaf and can't hear anything else..(?)..lol. Jesus Christ.. The part (propably the only one), that made me proud of Mia was when she hit Tammy twice and knocked her to the ground. That was a NICE moment. But really the book would have WAY more potential if the author didn't include such lame and immature stereotypes in it. It was ruined basically by them and the heroine's attitude. If not for them and Mia, this book could be a solid 4 star book. But because I found myself rolling my eyes and wanting to slap someone during most of the book, I'll give it 2 solid stars. I'd understand such immature and idiotic way of thinking if it came from a teenage author, cause teenage girls have a way too wild imagination, uncontrollable way of thinking which most of the times is consisted by extreme stereotypes and raging hormones. I'd accept that kind of heroine if it came from the mind of a teenager. But all this writen by a supposed adult/mature author??It seems rediculous and disappointing. I didn't know adults were capable of being so uneducated and stereotypical..I thank God I didn't have to buy this book from amazon or wherever, cause I'd actually demand my money back and wanna rip the book to pieces. Thankfully for the author, the book had a nice hero and an awesome family which were the only things in the story that made it worthy considering just how much the heroine ruined it's quality. 2 stars and that's because of Michael and his family..Otherwise it'd be a solid 1 star the most.

Izzy is a scream, what a mouth she has on her. I love the relationship the whole Gallo family shares. I hate writing reviews that you can read on the back cover of the book. So I will just say that this book is an awesome read if you don't mind the many editorial errors. Which when they are as frequent as they are in this book, tend to bug me.

I'm hooked! I'm addicted to this series and I only met Ma, Pop and two brothers! I want them all, I them again, I want everything! This book is about Michael, the loving fighter, and Mia, the strong doctor. As I said, Michaels is a fighter. When he is not administrating Inked (the tattoo and piercing show he and his borthers and sister own), he is getting ready to take a man down using his fists (and sometimes his feet and legs...you know what I mean). But surprinsingly, if he is not fighting, he is caring. He has a body made of iron and a heart made of gold, and being around him is precious. "Michael Gallo did not fit the mold of fighter bad boy. He was a romantic and made me feel like the only person that mattered in the world" Michael can find his high on a ring being, as Mia says, barbaric, but the man has some really good moves, inside the ring and out of it. He is sweet, funny, caring...he just needs to pick some companions better (and I'm not talking about MIa, obviously). And Mia is so amazing. She is hard worker, she is a teaser and she gives as much as she takes with Michael. She is worthy! And Michael is quick to realize that. "I won't break your heart. For the first time in my life, I've found something worth fighting for, someone more important than me" They were so great as a couple, they matched and, as we could totally ship for City/Joey and Susy, we super root for Mia and Michael. God, I love a family series!

He is a total flirt, almost to the point of cheesy, but it was kind of endearing. Mia is totally against fighting, and piercing, Michael’s other profession…yet the attraction was undeniable. A few weeks later the run into each other at the gym, and sparks fly again. Mia is too busy. Between being a doctor and volunteering at a local clinic, she doesn’t have a free minute for a relationship. But when Michael goes after her, he really goes for it! Mia is a tough nut. She has 4 brothers and has done a Doctors Without Borders type of thing. She resists every step of the way. She’s practical, he’s an adrenaline junky. He’s a fighter, she’s a healer. I liked this way more than the first book. The change of narrator was a huge help for that and I liked Michael and Mia more as characters. Michael is kind of funny and I liked how sweet he was with Mia. He treated her right, made big romantic gestures, and the situation with Tammy was crazy but a little funny. Mia is super smart and loves helping people. She did overreact at one point, but it was understandable and got worked out. This definitely makes me want to read the next books!

No surprise! Second the heroine is a non-sense. She keep annoying me more and more. The first 40% were really slow, no real action. And then finally something happens between Michael and Mia but no real sparks or connection for me. The sex was ok but nothing like in the first! I instantly loved how Michael was. He is the piercer for the tattoo shop as well as a professional MMA fighter. He is cocky and confident but he isn’t an asshole like so many men can be. Is he perfect? No but what he is, is real. I loved how he was not just with Mia but his entire family. What really won me over was how he took the time to show his romantic side. He wanted to earn Mia’s time and the way he did it melted my heart. Mia is not a push over, she is feisty and strong. She is hilarious with her needle comments. Her dedication to her career is commendable but makes it hard for her to have a relationship. It sadly also affects her because she feels each loss and they haunt her. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Mia. She had that fighting is so barbaric and I am a doctor so I have to hate it on principle attitude. But she quickly proved me wrong and I am so glad that she did, because she is the perfect balance for Michael. When their relationship is tested by a crazy ass bitch, and I literally mean a crazy ass bitch, I was disappointed in how Mia handled it. But, I could also see why she reacted the way she did. The way she handled it at the end though, that’s all that matters and she made me proud. I am really beginning to love this series. I will admit after the first book, which I liked but didn’t overly love, I was skeptical about this one. Luckily Ms. Bliss has proved me wrong and made me want the next book right now. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the remaining brothers and the ever so smart assed sister Izzy.

Michael was a womaniser until Mia, she changed something in him and its great to see him as a person grow as well as his relationship with Mia. They like all couples have their challenges to over come but Michael’s a fighter and never stops fighting for Mia’s love. The characters are written brilliantly and I fell in love with them instantly and seeing Joey aka ‘City’ and Suzy from book one was a nice little extra within the novel. I felt like in this book we got to see a little more of the Gallo family dynamic than in book one and I felt like I was getting to know the family on a whole new level. I loved it, two Gallo brothers down two to go and of course Isabella, I love that girl she is so sassy and swears like a sailor, she is who I want to be when I grow up, Ha. I really enjoyed this book, it was great to see the author bring to light real issues of poverty and not being able to pay for medical care, it was really touching to read about how Mia’s dream was to help these people, Michael and Mia’s story was fantastic, Thank you and Well Done Chelle Bliss.

LOVED IT! Again, why hadn't I read a Chelle Bliss books before the Men of Inked series because she certainly knows what she is doing! Although a passionate cage fighter he is surprisingly gentle. You are not getting the same old story with each book. I have read multiple series with spin off characters, but basically had the same plot, was almost a complete recap of the previous book with just a switch of names and a few sex scenes, or lacked depth. Not the case with Hook Me! It's an all around great read with new family revelations, new love interests and of course some addicting steamy scenes! 5 *WINK* READ Book Flirts by Jessi

I love City, and now we get to hear about younger brother, Mike's journey to relationship bliss or angst or both. Hook Me is raw, witty, entertaining, and hot with a bit of angst. Mia, a doctor who is dedicated to her job and emotionally invested in her patients, has all but sworn off relationships. She is done with the creeps and losers she dates who are just after her body and lack brains. While working at the ER, she encounters Mike who has a rib cage injury. It is lust at first site for the I love City, and now we get to hear about younger brother, Mike's journey to relationship bliss or angst or both. It is lust at first site for the totally alpha Gallo brother who is part tattoo shop owner and an MMA-style fighter. "Reaching down, I adjusted my dick in my shorts. [Frick], just talking to her made me semi-hard. The half-pitched tent vanished when a burly man walked through the door with an x-ray machine. Never thought I'd be happy to see a man." The hot doctor's touch sets his body on fire. Mia is thrown off as well at the instant chemistry and hands Mike off to someone else. "The doctor had brushed me off, and I was pissed." Mike is a tall, muscular, sexy, pierced, tattooed, blunt, and sweet...the whole package...can you say hot?!? Used to women throwing themselves at his feet and one-night stands, he can't walk away from the sassy beautiful doctor who sets his heart and body on fire and has taken his mind hostage. "She didn't smile, but there was a twinkle in her eyes. Her body responded to mine...no matter how hard she tried to deny it. I never liked easy. I may have met my match with you, Mia." Mia is dedicated her job as a doctor and wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to saving and tending to patients...they even haunt her dreams. Though, after being burned by a string of bad dates and relationships, her exterior with men is as hard as ice. She assumes that when she sees Mike for a second time in a bar that he wants is to get in her pants like the other douche duds she's dated. "I studied him as he ordered our drinks. Without talking to him, I'd think he was just another meathead muscle guy without the ability to think quickly and hold a witty conversation, but I would've been dead wrong. Michael was a conundrum to me--brains, brawn, and beauty." After realizing that Mike is indeed unique--a sweetheart wrapped in the body of King Kong--she melted a little. "Leaning forward, I closed my eyes and held my breath. Butterflies filled my stomach and my legs trembled. The warmth of his lips sent shivers down my body. The noise around us disappeared as he kissed me. Nothing else seemed to exist except him and me." Mike, persistent like the Gallo he is, had to make Mia his. He wants to help her forget her demons and realize that there is more to life than work...she can enjoy herself and live. "It's been a long time since I felt truly at peace, but being here, in your arms and watching the sunset with the sound of the waves, I feel it--serenity that I haven't been able to find in so long. So to have this brief moment where I'm reminded of the world's beauty and feel like only the two of us exist brings tears to my eyes. You chased away the demons, if only for a little while." The past has a way of sometimes biting you in the butt. Mike's history is threatening both his and Mia's first time in a healthy relationship...at happiness. "Don't throw what we have away, Mia. There's something that brought us together. I feel like I've known you forever, and I don't want to be without that feeling. I can't lose you." Great novel by Chelle Bliss! I can't wait to read the next book! 5 sinfully sexy stars!

I thought City was hot, but I think Michael may be hotter! Do I really have to pick between the two? Who doesn’t love a hot MMA fighter who will fight for what he believes in, and help the woman of his dreams accomplish her own goals as well. That’s exactly what Michael does, while being the sexy beast that he is. Mia and Michael first meet after Michael breaks his ribs in a fight. Mia is the doctor that tends to his injuries and makes things stand at attention. Before Michael can get a date or I thought City was hot, but I think Michael may be hotter! Before Michael can get a date or a hook up out of Mia, she’s gone to see to other patients and he doesn’t see her again. Fast forward 6 months and the fun begins. Michael has a crazy ass woman named Tammy, who he’s been using as a fuck buddy lately. When I say crazy, I mean total bat shit, her mind is not part of this world crazy. You should read about the shit that she does, FUCKING CRAY CRAY! Michael tries to cut things off as soon as he realizes how crazy she is, but she won’t stay gone for long. Only question is, will she eventually realize that things are done between her and Michael and leave him alone, or will she think of one more crazy thing to try to trap him into a relationship with her? Mia’s life isn’t easy, she loves her jobs, but she doesn’t like the heartache and depression she feels after leaving work every night. The clinic brings her the most joy, but it isn’t possible for her to be there as much as she likes. So she works at the ER and tries to do as much as she can. Mia loves that she has the opportunity to save someone’s life, but losing one is the worst. So after a rough night at the ER and some restless sleep, she decides to head to the gym, but on the way in, she runs into a mountain of a man. Just so happens that this man is insanely hot and makes her panties wet just looking at him. Mia first turns Michael down at first when he insists he takes her out to apologize, but after she sees him at a bar later that night, she can’t put up a fight any more. This man is a smooth talker, and she figures what the hell, she hasn’t been out with a man in way too long. However, when she goes out with Michael, what he ends up doing for her is nothing she ever expected from the MMA fighter. He ends up taking her breath away! Once Michael and Mia finally start to spend time together, you instantly fall in love with them both! Michael’s soft and romantic side comes out when he’s around Mia, and Mia’s feistiness comes out when she’s with Michael. The just FIT with each other. Then those sex scenes, OMG! You’re fanning your face after you read them, and you pull up your computer so that you can google up pictures of Michael’s hardware. (OK well maybe that’s just me ; ) ) Tough times are ahead for these two though. Even though they seem like they are meant for each other, only time will tell. Will the events that unfold bring them closer together or will they rip these two apart? I seriously love this series HARD! I just love how Chelle Bliss has you falling in love with the character in each book and she even connects to you the characters with smaller parts in the story. This is one of my top 10 favorite series and I can’t wait to read more! I’m excited to see what happens next in Throttled with City and Suzy, and I can’t wait to read Izzy’s story (That’s one I’m really excited about). If you haven’t read any of Chelle’s books, you are really missing out!

With a broken rib, Michael finds his self getting treated by a beautiful doctor, who to his surprise doesn't give into his charm and sexiness. Thats a first! As fate would have it, these two will literally run into each other. Realizing the beautiful girl he plowed down is the doctor who brushed him off, it's now his mission to have her say yes to a date. Mia doesn't agree with what Michael does, being a fighter is barbaric in her eye's, but hell if she isn't attracted to him. She's feisty, playful, smart and beautiful and he wants her. Mia makes him act like no other woman has, she brings out a different side if him. "I may have met my match with you, Mia."- Michael He's sexy, funny, sweet, romantic... Who would of thought. She sure didn't, but can she let him in? Does she even have time for someone like Michael? "Michael, I'd say your smitten if I didn't know you any better."- Mia The relationship they are forming will be put in jeopardy, when a crazy person from Michael's pass shows up with shocking news. They have just begun, but is it already over? "I won't break your heart. For the first time in my life, I've found something worth fighting for, someone more important than me."- Michael Where so I start? I enjoyed meeting a new member of the Gallo family, and Michael didn't disappoint, Ladies. He is this macho, tuff, MMA fighter, but he has a sweet and soft side and you will enjoy seeing it, like i did. Mia! She is an awesome character. I absolutely loved her feistiness she has. She's one of those characters that doesn't have to revolve around her man, if you know what I mean. She independent, and that was a breath of freaking fresh air. The sex scenes, holy hell! Mmmm, freaking alpha male in the bed, and the licking of the fingers... Shit! You will totally understand what I'm referring to when you read the book. I laughed a lot. Let me just say two words, needle and penis. LMAO!!! Tammy, what a crazy bitch! That is all I'm going to say on that subject, and y'all will agree with me. I can't forget to mention that the Gallo clan is in Hook Me a lot, maybe even more than in Throttle Me. They're mom<3 this book definitely won't let the fan's of Throttle Me down, y'all will enjoy it, just as a i did. I can't wait for Izzy's story. Finally, the one who doesn't have balls, gets her own book. I need it now!!!! 5 stars!!!!!!

I freaking love Chelle Bliss. I loved her after Throttle Me and I adore her even more after Hook Me. This is my kind of book right here. A hot hero who knows what he wants and goes after it plus a beautiful heroine who isn’t weak and stands up for herself. I love this family, all of them. They love, they protect, they tease, they fight, and they do all of it fiercely. Hook Me is Michael’s story. Michael is one of the brothers of the Gallo family that we met in book 1, he is City’s brother. City I freaking love Chelle Bliss. I love it when favorite characters show up in books on down the line. I also adore their sister Izzy. I cannot wait to read her book. Michael is a fighter and he is part owner/works at the family’s tattoo parlor, Inked. Mia is an ER doc with a passion for helping people who need that helping hand up, her ER job is draining her, while working at the free clinic fills her back up. I am kind of like Mia (in the beginning) when it comes to MMA. I haven’t seen much, but what I have seen on YouTube (I had to look it up and watch a few rounds) made me cringe. I love books where the heroes are MMA fighters, I even like reading about the fights, but when it comes to actually watching it, it turns out I have a weak stomach. The chemistry between these two is hot (along with the steamy scenes, which are amazing). The writing is devourable (spell check is telling me that isn’t a word, I am inventing it right now just for this book), I couldn’t put this one down and just kept reading from beginning to end. I don’t know which brother I adore more at this point, Joey (City) or Michael (The Iceman). There is drama, there is romance, there is hot sex, and there is a crazy woman named Tammy. What more could you want from a book? I love this series so hard and I will continue to follow it from beginning to end and then I will pick up whatever Chelle writes next. Thank you so much for my copy of Hook Me!
