The first group of soldiers they me are members of the German SS, well armed, and well trained. They are fortunate enough to come across a group of the French resistance with whom the conduct harassing raids. written in the first person, the lead soldier (not the leader) meets and falls in love with one of the French. The story continues as they rescue some British flyers who had been captured by the Germans, and finally make it back to their lines. This is a story not unlike Easy Company, but the is Baker company. If you should want to purchase these stories, buy the box set, it is about 1/3 the price you will pay for each book by themselves.
