I have listened to most of this collection and the readers are excellent. (I am pretty sure there is more than one reader). I feel like Harry Bosch is a good friend. I don't have a favorite in the series, although I liked 9 Dragons. The Narrows was kind of dark.
George Palmer –
So fantastic to have all these books in one place. I love this character, and Connelly never phones it in, just keeps getting better and better. I pre-order everything he has coming out and I'm never disappointed.
Ann Gallagher –
I love all the Harry Bosch novels - I have read them in order and find the character is extremely complex; flawed, tortured and self-righteous and always manages to get the job done even when it doesn't work out so well for himself. Really well written for the genre of cop dramas and I find Michael Connelly paints a very vivid picture of life in the underbelly of Los Angeles.
Jeffrey Jones –
Entertaining and engaging. Living out of the country, but having grown up in LA, Harry Bosch's daily turns through the city brings back enjoyable memories and associations.
Winter Sophia Rose –

I first became familiar with Bosch on TV. Loved him. Grabbed a hold of the book as I know I can so a better job with my imagination than being spoon fed the moving action on TV Connelly did not disappoint. His language was full of colour and fast moving action. He developed his characters craftfully and with extraordinary skill. I do not retell the stories in any of my reviews but believe me; if you are at all into cops and robbers or detectives intellectually and skillfully getting the bad guys, I first became familiar with Bosch on TV.
